PA Distance is thrilled to introduce the newly-formed Community Engagement team for the 2020-2021 school year. The Community Engagement team facilitates open communication between PA Distance families and focuses on offering support when they need it. They also work to create strong ties between PA Distance and the communities across Pennsylvania in which we serve. 

Since starting at PA Distance six years ago, Mr. Tony Reda has been teaching elementary and middle school Health & Wellness courses. Now for a change of pace, Mr. Reda will be teaching health concepts and physical education to 8th-grade and 9-12th grade high school students. 

Business Technology teacher, Ms. Susannah Azzaro, has been teaching for almost 30 years, beginning her journey in 1992 as a high school English teacher in Virginia. She later moved to Ohio, where she became involved in technology integration for local schools. She moved back to Pennsylvania and got her Business Technology certification while working at a variety of educational institutions, including time teaching at another cyber school.

Mrs. Victoria DeRoner has worked as a High School Social Studies Teacher, in a virtual setting, since 2007. As a seasoned distance learning educator for 10 years, and now a trusted Teacher Technology Coach for PA Distance, Mrs. DeRoner teaches her colleagues and students new things.

Mrs. Lindsey Fanning began teaching Geometry and Consumer Math to high schoolers at PA Distance in August 2016 with three years of teaching experience at her disposal. Born and raised in South Park Township in Allegheny County, PA, Mrs. Fanning grew up wanting to be a teacher.
