A different approach to education is offered to all K-12 students in PA

Wexford, PA | April 3, 2017: PA Distance Learning, a public cyber-charter school, is opening enrollment for 2017-18, which will begin on August 30, 2017.  It is their mission that all students in Pennsylvania have the opportunity to grow both in subject-areas and as individuals.  This is done by offering home-based online learning and relationship-centered technology using a Google Technology platform.

In today’s digital world of text-messaging, chatting, hashtagging, and online schooling,  many fear the loss of communication skills and the ability to improve those skills.

The fear that young people’s communication skills will suffer in both their social and professional lives is heaviest among educators and parents, but is this fear legitimate?

Do young people’s communication proficiencies suffer because they live in a virtual world? Does “digital” mean lack of proper speaking and writing?

National Wear Red Day

PA Distance Learning is going red tomorrow for National Wear Red Day! Why? 

To advocate for women's heart health, for starters; but for us, it's more personal than that.  

Each year, Mrs. Clutter leads the charge for the office to take part in awareness of this campaign.  Mrs. Clutter suffered 2 strokes at a young age, making this campaign very dear to her.

For our 100th day of school, our students and staff got together to celebrate the wonderful community we have together.  We had over 100, but we thought we'd share just a few to celebrate!
