Kirstin DeGraeve, from New Kensington, PA, graduated from PA Distance as the Class of 2020 Salutatorian and will begin her freshman year at Penn State University this summer. After completing her high school career at PA Distance, Kirstin looks back on the relationships she made with her teachers and the lasting friendships she made with her classmates.

William Barnhart, from Weedville, PA, enrolled at PA Distance when he was in 8th grade. He turned 17 on graduation day, this past Saturday, and graduated an entire year early alongside the PA Distance class of 2020 — as their Valedictorian.

PA Distance science teacher, Ms. Samantha Sellinger, graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After switching from a major in archeology, Ms. Sellinger decided that she was more interested in science, specifically biology. What she wanted to pursue with that interest, however, was yet to be determined.
