The faculty at PA Distance Learning are the heart and soul of how we create a meaningful learning experience for students and families in Pennsylvania. Our credentialed teachers bring robust experience, innovative techniques, and specialized knowledge to their virtual classrooms.
For instance, Ms. Murray, one of 2nd/3rd grade teachers, not only holds her PK–4 certification, but a certification as a Reading Specialist K–12; Mrs. DeRoner holds certifications in 7-12 Social Studies; 7-12 Citizenship; K-12 Instructional Technology; and AP European History. These teachers meet and often exceed what is available within the public district, particularly in remote or underprivileged regions of Pennsylvania.
Not only do we have high caliber staff, our staff is accessible to our students. Students receive personalized instruction through many different mediums. This allows each student to learn in the way that is best for them through the guidance of a qualified educator. Our maximum student-to-teacher ratios in all subjects—not just core subjects—ensure that each student is receiving the personalized education they need to grow. We care deeply about our students. One of the ways we show that is bringing an outstanding team of teachers together for them.
