They say that in 1 minute,

5 earthquakes shake the world,

360 bolts of lightening strike the earth,

A human inhales, exhales, inhales, exhales, 16 times,

1,800 stars explode.

The highest point of the earth is 29,028 feet above sea level, the lowest known point is 36,200 feet below sea level. Imagine how much happens that we cannot measure, that we cannot know.

But maybe all of that stuff that seems impossible to measure, doesn't need measured anyway.  Maybe that stuff should simply be seen; maybe some stuff doesn't need known, but enjoyed in full.

Corey Suydam, a freshmen here at PA Distance, has endured many "earthquakes" in his life, and his lowest known point has felt miles longer than his highest point.  But he steadies himself in the immeasurable, spending his days seeing, enjoying, and appreciating.

Corey shares his eyes with us, and I think his photography may show us what really happens in 1 minute.
